- Hodag1ExplorerMichelin LTX AT2s worked for me Great in snow and did well on a 2011 F350, crew, 8' bed over Mosquito Pass, CO. When They wore out I got the same. Sams had the best price installed.
- youngm357ExplorerI just put Cooper Mastercraft load range "E" tires on my truck for about $1k cash deal.

So did I but won't again. Good highway tire and wear well but absolutely useless in snow. I too am finding the 17" limiting my choices.
Living in the desert, snow is not much of a problem for me. However, I have to admit that these high pressure E's don't do well in the dirt. I have to run the darn things almost flat before they quit slipping. But I do have about 45K miles on them, and still have lots and lots of tread and when I pulled my TT with the quad in the back of the bed, I couldn't ask for a better set of tires.

I'd like to buy the Toyo tires but TireRack indicates there aren't any 265/65R17 made in an E rating.
I've gone to 265/70R17 to get around this in the past. Still, there don't seem to be many E rated tires in my size. - whizbangExplorer III've got about 4,000 miles on Toyo AT II's.
Great tires so far. Smooth. Quiet. Good wet traction. Two thumbs up.
I saw from your other post that you like the Goodrich TA KO's. Me too. I ran these for ten years on two vehicles before the AT II's came out.
Wet traction is about the same. The Toyos are quieter. The TA KO's might have an edge in the snow. I can't say for sure since we had so little snow here this year. Good luck. - lanerdExplorer III put BFG Rugged Trails "E"s on mine and they have performed very well.

Are you looking for an All Terrain type? I am thinking my next tire might be the Nitto Terra Grappler since it comes in load index 126. My Cooper Discoverer ATP's have been good except they like to pick up small rocks and not let them go.
I think I'm looking for an AT type. But, now that I'm pretty much living in suburbia and only driving gravel road when the TC is on the truck, I wonder if I need the noise and wear of an AT tire. The truck is my daily driver and I use Blizzak's in the winter anyhow. - kbaumExplorerI like the Hankook RF10 good traction in most terrain also not real loud and wear great.
