Time gets AWAY

As I hooked up tow vehicle today I said to myself man I like this new truck and then realized it's just few months shy of 5 years old. Wow how time flys by. Truck's been great just turned 39k.
  • Yup, time does fly by so fast.

Hard to believe my "new" truck is now over 1 year old and my "new" camper is 2 years old. Seems like they are still 'brand new' to me! Time flies.

But here's whats even more scary! Here's a photo of my little boy in the back of our pick-up truck that we used to sleep in when we went camping in 1985. He was about 6 months old here. This seems like it was just yesterday!

And here he is at almost age 30 with his own little boy almost 2 years old here! My little baby ... 30 years old .... hard to believe! Time DOES get away!

  • I realized today that my 2005 Ford that I bought in 2007, isn't new anymore either. When I bought it, it only had 11,000 miles on it.

The previous owner must have been one of those that just has to have a new truck all of the time. I bought it for $27K and the new ones sitting beside it were priced at $54K. For only have 11,000 miles on it and no scratches in the bed, I saved a lot of money. It also came with ten matching mag rims, five with summer tires and five with mounted winter tires.

I suppose it will last me for another 10 - 15 years.
