time to get vehicle after ordering
My Chevy Traverse is at 241K and my wife says i need to order a new one. local dealer says 6-8 months. Just curious if that is them trying to get me to take what they can find or if the build time...

it varies all over. A friend ordered a car in july, expected delivery in Nov, now they just got notice it is on the assy line. then it has to get across the ocean........
In the past ordering vehicles delivery has varied from a few months to 6 months or more and that was when there weren't lots of shortages.
