time to get vehicle after ordering
My Chevy Traverse is at 241K and my wife says i need to order a new one. local dealer says 6-8 months. Just curious if that is them trying to get me to take what they can find or if the build time...

With manufacturers running national ad campaigns, "Have it your way, order your new (insert brand here) today!" I don't think so.
I think there may be light at the end of the tunnel. One small local Chevy dealership now has cars in their new lot for the first time in 2 years. They're not all new but their inventory has grown enough recently that it was worth moving some of them back into the new lot.
