In my opinion based upon a year of research on RV and truck forums the best tire is the Michelin XPS Ribs. I read very few problems with the tires and most posts indicated the tires provided more than expected miles of serivice. Many of the folks who posted indicated they were on their 2nd and 3rd sets because they had such good luck with the previous sets (these were folks that use their trucks to haul loads daily around the country).
I bought a set for the rear of my dually and for my 5th wheel 2 years ago...no problems.
They are more expensive but I feel the value comes from the safety and the tires will last longer.
