'Cheapest at any cost'...
A huge hot button of mine and not just tires, but our way of life...
Customers demand 'Cheapest at any cost', so the manufactures CEO got that to be
competitive...so they outsourced off shore where there is little to no regulatory
agencies, nor laws protecting workers and the environment...cheaper
than they could have manufactured here in the USA
That then 'PAID' them to become our peer competitors after the OEMs also outsourced
our crown jewels...design rules/metrics and secrets...
'PAID' them to build up their infrastructure and educate their
workers...their whole way of life has improved because of our demand
for: 'Cheapest at any cost'
Corporate exec's made even more money and are still laughing all the way to the
bank...
Mean while the public is suffering from their own demanded: 'Cheapest at any cost'...
That COST is in our own living structure, which has been changed negatively forever...
'Cheapest at any cost'...weigh that with what 'you' the OP values in your family
Good post. May I add "All driven by the stockholder who demands ever higher dividends on their stock."
