tips on installing awning.

Im taking the POS lippert power awning off my tt. I purshased a 2 yr old manual awning to replace it with. Im getting all the arms, brackets, hardware ect. Both awnings are 21'. What do I use to seal any holes that might not be covered up or used by the new arms? Dicor? I've checked youtube for videos, but they only ones I see are showing how to swap out the fabric. Any tips would be appreciated....

    For the lower holes where people might notice, some folks have placed a fake clearance light (the flat ones in yellow or white).

    I believe that they anchor in different spots.
    Make sure that the underlying structure to support it is there.... Measure many times. Drill once.

    I like the idea of marker lights to hide any holes that may be visible. I belive theres only 4 brackets, two by the roof and two lower around floor level. I'll go on dometic's web site to see if I can download a installation manual.
