1) Try to be lined up better. Even a slight turn angle will add WAYY more load to the outside bar.
2) Raise the jack more
3) Hold the bar like your hand is a crab claw. Then when it snaps over, it won't touch your hand.
4) Only moe the bar slightly when you release the pin, then rotate it more after your pin-hand in clear.
