tips to stabilize

If I was looking for stabilizer jacks, between the 2 links, price makes my decision.

Like has been said, jacks are one thing, x-chocks are another. I couldn't stomach to spend $70 on X-chocks, so I made my own from a piece of 4x4 that I already had and $15 worth of threaded rod and nuts that I bought from the home center.

I noticed that when my wife and kids were wandering around in the camper, it rocked a lot and I could see the tires rotating back and forth. I just made my own chocks and will try them out this weekend.

I would get the jacks used for mobile homes and use about 8 along the frame rails. Try to get it high enough to get the tires off the ground and you will have a rock solid RV.

The Cameco units would work but I think you'll find the mobile home ones out of steel much less expensive and stronger. Be sure to get the ones with the adjustable heads.

The two things you linked to are for two different issues. The jacks will help with up and down bounce on the suspension and the X chocks will stop the front to back movement very well.

I'm only looking to stabilize the trailer, not level it. does anyone have experience using the below X chocks vs the jacks I originally posted?

We have four stabalizers and still get movement unless we chock the tandem wheels. I think a surprising amount of movement comes from this. I made a wheel lock from two V cut 4x4 with threaded rod and nuts to draw them tight. It really helps

Those jacks will help stabilize the trailer, but they're not really meant for leveling the trailer. If it's not level you should put something under the tires to level it out and then put the stabilizer jacks down.
