Tire blow out trailer

The manufacturer of the tire is irrelevant all tires will do this.
However there does exist a SLIM possibility that there was a defect in the tire but that would have generally shown up very early in it's life not after one year or more of wear.
Many tires can throw a cap and still be at full inflation pressure. The current ST tires seem pretty good at throwing them. Many manufactures are adding a Nylon overlay, however there is no proof yet that the problem is resolved. The GY Marathon got a Nylon overlay in the late 90's and they throw caps like most the others.
