This is something that doesn't come up much. For folks on the west coast, you will have 2,000+ miles on the tires. You'll never know how the ST tires were treated and I'm sure the drivers don't stay under the 65 MPH the whole trip out to the coast.
When you pick up your "new" TT or FW, the tires are already well used and possibly well abused. It's kinda like the RV industries dirty little secret...
