Tire choice

Looking at different tires for our F350. The truck has Michelin LTX A/T on it now. When not pulling the truck rides real rough.

I am looking at Continental Terrain Contact A/T - this tire has a rebate on it now

Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO 3 - highest price of the 3

Cooper Discover ATP - lowest price

Has anyone had these tires on their tow vehicles? Would you recommend any of these tires?

Thank You
  • I also run Cooper AT3.I just put on my second set. First set I got almost 70k,they were completely worn. I run 48 lbs when not towing up to sixty with the trailer.
  • It's a truck! With 80 PSI of course it will ride rough. Lower your air pressure.when not towing. Stick with the Michelins.
  • I’ve ran Cooper AT3(2sets), WildCountrys and Revos(2sets)on my truck. The Revos I guess were the original Revos(15 years ago)are my favorite, roads great, and lasted over 50k miles. But they got really expensive. I did not like the WildCountrys. They rode bad, and did not last.
The Cooper AT3’s are what I, on now, and it is my second set. They ride almost as good at the Revos, and igot right at 50k miles out of the first set, and have about 5kon the current set. To me, they are the best tire for the money.
I’ve got 243k miles on this truck, so I’ve been through some tires.
Also Cooper is American owned and made.
  • A/T tires are going to ride rough if your not off road ? why get such a tuff tire?
  • I run 80 lbs in the tires. I will have to try running with less air when not pulling.
I am leaning toward the Continental Terrain A/T tire from Discount tire. I was hoping to get some reviews.

What do you run for rear tire pressure when not towing. SRW 42-45 and DRW 35 will greatly improve ride when not towing. Chris
  • I had coopers before on my truck and 5er and 40% separated over 2 years. Coopers were good on my Grand Marquis though years back
