I doubt my own judgement, sometimes. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I bought the wheels and tires from Tire Rack about 9 months ago, and I've been second guessing that decision. I saved a bit of dough buying on-line and putting them on, myself. Plus, I knew the wheels would be torqued to spec. However, I often buy pricier items locally through authorized dealers. Contributing to the local economy and having a fall-back guy makes me feel better about spending the extra money. Tire Rack seems to be reputable, but...
Another thing I've noticed, is a bucking/surge at about 43 MPH. Accelerating, decelerating or constant throttle, it doesn't seem to matter. Is that "Porpoising", or a tire out of balance? I thought Porpoising was caused by a road induced oscillation, so that bucking/surge concerns me, too.
