Tire Experts Weigh in: Run these or replace them?

There are lots of private label tires sold at various tire chain stores that are American made and budget priced. I would put on a set of them. Found some for my wife's old 2006 Mercury that doesn't get used much. They are some odd brand but made by Cooper. Less than 1/2 the price of the major name brands and feel they are much safer than the 8 year old Michelins they replaced.
