My personal limit is 5 years.... By the date code on the tires!

Tires start deteriorating from the day they are made, not when you purchased them.

What is the date code on those tires?

Note: Where you live has some bearing on tire life. Someone on the east coastcanprobably do better than myself in Phoenix AZ.
