Running at max pressure has many benefits like running cooler, less fatigue from flexing (longer life) and the highest possible capacity for the times it has to deal with pot holes and such.
You guys that age out trailer tires before they wear out need to get out more.
7 yrs. Full Time....averaged 15K a year on trailer tires.
YEP ran them at MAX PSI 110# and they wore evenly but never wore out. They did age out though.
Truck/5vr went across CAT Scales every year.....trailer axle weights were 10k/11k routinely. Tires were rated at 15k at max psi/leaf springs were 16K and axles were 14K.
Dang if it didn't tow smooth
