I have many trailers , rv , equipment , boat , utility, and car . Lots of tires , I have NEVER had decent "trailer tires" . I only run trailer tires on 2 of my trailers , my utility trailer , it makes dump runs and light material runs , and my boat trailer , it gets used twice a year , in and out in spring and fall . Any trailer 6 or 8 lug gets 16 in rims with LT tires , any 5 lug gets the highest weight rating 14 or 15 inch radial I can find . From past experience , I wont run "trailer tires" carrying equipment , heavy loads , or highway speeds (especially in the summer) To me they are sacrificial rubber for going to the landfill
