Civilians are the majority .
Motorheads are the minority .
Civilians have more important things to do than doting over their passion for vehicles .
Each of those civilians may have a passion for something and gain expertise in that particular field .
Motorheads are well served by turning for advice to civilians who are knowledgeable in their particular area of expertise .
As regarding tires it is logical to believe that a motorhead has studied the topic at length over time and has a more extensive understanding of the esoteric differences that dictate the performance of each tire .
One of the things that motorheads have in common is their willingness to spend more money to upgrade the tires on their vehicles .
Civilians can now purchase 18 and 20 inch tires on their brand new SUV and pickup .
A decade ago only the motorheads were making this change at a considerable aftermarket expense .
So motorheads are automotive geeks .
Who need help from civilians to use all of the apps on their cellphones .
