I use an infrared thermometer to shoot hub and brake drum temps during fuel or rest stops.
I would be curious what the brake drum temps were. I discovered that I had one brake drum that wasn't heating up, and I the cause, a cut brake wire.
I've also noted that the sunny side of the rig always has higher tire temps.
