I agree with looking for take offs; I see them quite regularly here on Craigslist and Marketplace. Unfortunately there were none available for my truck last year when I was looking. We had a longer distance camping trip coming up and I didn't want to chance my 8 year old tires towing in the heat. I ended up putting on new Michelins to the tune of $2k; and of course now there are 2 sets of new Michelin take offs on Craigslist for $1k...:S
