Its time that I purchase some new tires for my F-150. I'm looking at a set of Cooper Discoverer ATP, anyone running these and how are they? Are they too much AT for highway driving? Thank You
My original tires on my 2000 F-150 went 110,000 miles and I replaced them only because I planned a longish vacation. America's Tire got me exact replacements at a reasonable price.
Just a suggestion since you already have a particular tire in mind. I put the Michelin LTX M/S 2's on my F-150 and was nothing but delighted with the performance they gave. I was towing a 22' 5,000# TT at the time. I now have them on my 24' Class C and again could not be more pleased with the performance/wear I get. The ride and handling are excellent and they come with a 70,000 mile tread warranty.
