That's for sure. I wouldn't put Micheblows on my wheelbarrow.

Why do you say this? I have used Michelins for a long long time. We have two cars and our truck. Never had a blowout on these vehicles with Michelins. Before I put Michelins on my fiver I had Goodyear blowouts, Cooper blowouts and Firestone blowouts. Once I went to Michelins on my fiver, ten years ago, my blowout problem disappeared.

I would like to hear you personal experience with Michelin blowouts. A statement like yours needs to be supported.

Well in my case it's because of problems like is pictured below:




I did not throw Michelin under the bus after one, two or three tires.........No it took me around 10 tires to blow to learn my lesson. :S

I have several friends that work or own tire shops. I talked to them about this problem and they told me they see it a lot. They have seen several blow up in the spare rack of motorhomes!! Most of mine blew up in my driveway!! (more than 8!!!)

In all fairness this was in the 80's to late 90's. For all I know they might make the best tire in the world right now. I don't really care if they do or not; I'm not going there again.

BTW these were ALL Michelin X radials. They flat out screwed up on the rubber compound.

BTW I agree with Ben, Michelin used to make really good tires until about mid 80's. After that, they were cracker, blowers.
