title or registration not needed for used travel trailer?

I guess you would need the rest of the story. How old is the trailer? Where are you going with it? Etc.
I had a 1979 pop up for close to 4 years I just recently sold. I never got the ownership either. When the buyer asked for it I told him the story and left it to him to decide if he still wanted the trailer.
