Titling/registration nightmare. Advice?
So there is a van I want to buy. It's located in AZ, titled in MO, and I am going to register it in a third state, where my S&B is. I've talked to the DMVs in all 3 states. None will issue a trip...

Hence the red flag.
The vehicle and the owner/seller ARE in the same state. The vehicle IS with the owner/seller.
Per the OP:
The vehicle is TITLED in MO. The vehicle and owner/seller are BOTH LOCATED in AZ. The vehicle is NOT currently registered.
The OP will be registering the vehicle in HER STATE OF RESIDENCE (a 3rd state).
It sounds like the owner/seller bought the vehicle in MO (where it was titled) and at some point moved with the vehicle to AZ and never bothered to register it in AZ.
