I have an old 94 Itasca 21 foot class C and I've driven it on that road with no problems. You may also see people in cross overs, mini vans and even cars. The road IS maintained, just not very well. Most parts are hard packed graded dirt that is smooth enough for a passenger vehicle. Other parts can be a bit rough and may resemble some inner city deferred maintenance street. You only need a "rugged" vehicle when it has rained and the roads are rutted, washboarded or loose filled and the grader has no come yet. Otherwise, we're not talking some fire road where a D-7 is needed to get through. Drive, absorb the views and don't worry. (remember the grader and roller truck sits 12 feet up in the air and is 10 feet wide but doesn't scrape the walls)
