When we bought our 96 Southwind, I didn't want slides or bunks. The GK's were young and I felt the dinette/jackknife sofa would be sufficient for the amount of time they spend with us.
Fast forward a few years. Setting up and taking down the dinette or sofa gets real old, real quick. Even on weekend trips.
And, now the GK's are with us all the time so, we're looking at something with bunks and slides.
You don't know what life will hand you tomorrow. Things change quickly.
