Ahhhh.... I don't believe that the toilet is "bolted" to the tank in ANY rv. All I've seen, are bolted to a flange that is attached to the floor and have a pipe running from the toilet to the tank.
In any case, i like your idea of just putting the porta potty in the shower stall. Close the lid and you can still use the shower.
