I have an old foot that I kept from a worn out screw jack.
Works the same as the one presented here, but not as pretty. Get to the camp site, lower the jack into the foot and raise the rig. To leave retract the jack pick up the foot and stow with your leveling blocks.
This gives you extra clearance between the spring bars and the bottom of the jack.
I have looked at the retractable foot devices out there and I prefer what I have, if I were going to buy something it would be the removable foot.
