Tongue Jack without batteries?

I'm about to leave work, and pick up the camper from storage. I had the batteries at the house to charge and left them there. If I plug in the 7 way will the tongue jack work? I know it will provide power when the batteries are low, but I've never tried it with out them.

I doubt it, but it's possible. Go try it and let us know. You might uses a rock on the throttle to raise the alternator RPMs to put out more power through those little wires going to the plug.

I am thinking the same as Newman, a pair of jumpers from the TV battery to the TT battery cables, taped so they do not short out, and power it that way. Or directly from the TV battery to the jack wires which ever is easiest.
