We have a 30 ft travel trailer we live in (we are full-timers) and bought a non-slide 18 ft for weekend travels. The 30 ft has a slide and we just didn't want to be bothered with a slide for weekend or 1 month trips .. and works for us.
I am saying this because sometimes people get non-slide travel trailers and think it isn't that big a deal, then go out for a week or two and see that they really, really need a slide. And the second person buys it and well, the reasons so on and on.
Can't do any harm in looking ... maybe take a friend who is real picky or as we have done in the past taken a friend with us to look at a house, and while we are talking to the real estate agent, the 'friend' is looking around the place for questionable places and we came away with a better picture of what the house needed in repairs, etc.
