I appreciate everyone's response - even AISURFFISH, who called me Snowflake (since we live relatively close, you have a standing invitation next fall to join me in the weight room at the gym near my home in PA, where I am 5-6 mornings a week over the winter).
Thinking back on this, now that things have settled down, perhaps my expectations were too high on what represents good customer service. I had known from looking at one of Torklift's videos previously that they recommend looking at everything that is included in the box to make sure it is complete, but I didn't because I had heard they generally do a good job shipping everything complete in that respect. Alternatively, I also knew from talking to the Customer Service guy that I could have used the Fastguns as they were, or waited until later to reassemble them with the lock nuts after I got them.
Earlier that same day I had just received a new Camco Rhino Extreme sewer hose from Amazon and when I opened the box I found it was missing the elbow connector that attaches to one end of the hose and secures it into the RV park's sewer drain. So I had to call Camco and they are mailing me a connector. Then, when I drove into town to get the lock nuts, my truck windshield got hit and cracked with a rock, which I had to get repaired. Oh well, some days are like that!
It is refreshing to see all of the positive comments you guys have about Torklift. I'm sure they are well deserved. A company is nothing without satisfied customers. And satisfied customers don't get that way without good products, and more so from getting good product service and support.
Hopefully, my next Torklift purchase will go without a hitch. (Speaking of which, there may be a need for a new hitch in my future.)
