TorkLift wasn't even a company doing business when I bought my first TC. HJ and Reese were however.
One thing I learned a long time ago and that is competition breeds innovation and competitive pricing. HJ has just introduced a line of can over quick tie downs (look like the Fast Guns) at a price point well below the TL offering. FYI there....:S
