Torklift Talons - New Video

Well the new truck got it's talons installed. This is definitely not a how to video so if you have any general questions, please feel free to ask. The Talons are a step above the steel mounts and for those of you that are close to your max truck weight limits, might want to think about the Talons for some weight reductions. I will have to find out how much the steel mounts weigh vs the Aluminum.

My steel torklift are pretty light, so don't expect much lb shaved.
My aluminium tailgate is huge difference from steel one on older truck.
Now I can carry it with 1 hand.
In total, aluminium truck saved hundreds lb of weight.

Will find out, as I am just as curious as you are. Having both in hand, I can tell you it is very noticeable

How much weight does it drop? Can't be much, the steel ones aren't all that heavy.
