Torklift Tiedowns

Any one using Torklift tie downs on a 2014 Ford Dually with 8' bed. Torklift is unable to verify fitment yet as they have NOT had this truck in their shop.

Call torklift central in Kent , WA. Google Web site for phone number. Ask for Jonny or Dan. They might know.
  • I did call them. They didn't get a truck in yet to check fitment of the 2013 parts on a 2014 so they can't say for sure. Wondering if anyone did it yet and did it work.
  • I would wait until Torklift lists the new tiedowns on the webpage or confirms that 2013 will work on the 2014 or 15 for that matter. until then all bets would be off as to warranty, saftey or anything else..they are the experts.
  • why wouldn't the 2011+ fit? I wasn't aware of any changes to the 14's. In fact when I got my 2012 the tiedowns from my '09 fit.
  • I know, not a Torklift, but still shows a difference in trucks and fit."
We have Happi-jacs on our 2015 HD Chevy -- We got the 'new model" front bracket from Lance dealer, but we had to modify the fit, bend, straighten etc. It would not fit directly ... and altho a GM, the fit is not the same, so would not be surprised if Torklift was 'non-fit' too on the Ford or Dodge if anything changed.

It wasn't a huge difference, but still, needed 'fixing' ... the rear tie-downs we fabricated from scratch because the bumper in the old tie-down area is now "Plastic" not metal ... so, use care in all the fitting, as you might find a surprise.

SO, it at least shows that the 2015 Chevy is for sure different - and will take some modification from the designers at both fabricators, Happi-jac and Torklift.

Lets see now. 2014 Super Dutys have been out for... 6-9 months now? And Torklift Central is not Torklift Co.. So. Dan or Jonny may actually have seen one or two come thru their shop to see if 2013 parts fit, or could be made to fit. "They might have did it". Just saying. Real good guys.
  • I think they all know one another :) -- matter of fact, when they had my truck in, both head guys were there in 2003 looking at it because no one had seen a 2003 GMC 2500 at that time ... so, they took a bunch a photos and measurements.
  • I sent an email to torklift and they said they have not had a 2014 F350 Dually Crew long bed in their shop to check fitment . . . GO figure even though the distributors say the 2013 parts will fit. I even offered my truck as a guinea pig to do the fitment if they sent me a set . . . response was No Way
