I understand the unwillingness to RV after that but I cannot, for the life of me, understand how you go from a Silverado to a Mazda5 (isn't that a minivan??)!!! :?
In all seriousness, Sorry to hear about the accident and glad everyone is safe.
Hehehe! Yeah, I understand, and I agree. Consumer Reports calls it a "micro van." Mazda calls it a "wagon." No matter how you slice it, I miss my Silverado. 5.3L V-8, now you know you got something. 2.5L 4-cyl, well, at least it goes "zoom-zoom" LOL! It ought to - it's a GT.
But seriously, as I said to my sister, this car is exactly the car I need, but it's nowhere near the car I would want! What I want is a good old-fashioned American muscle car. Doesn't much matter which one. I truly don't need a truck anymore, if I'm not towing. And it was real hard to get that big truck in my garage with my wife's Impala and my big Harley. I did it, but the Harley was leaning against the left wall, the truck I pulled up right next to it, she put her Impala all the way to the right, and I crawled out the right side of the truck every day. The Mazda is short enough I can put the Harley in the back of the garage, pull the Mazda up in front of it, my wife can pull her Impala straight into the garage, and we can actually walk around all the vehicles. My professional BBQ equipment fits fine in the new wagon, the dogs can actually be in there with us, and all will be well. Plus with 8 grandchildren having six seats is a real plus.
