August of 1992, Miami Fl. 3 year old Ford Festiva, back side window broken by debris from Hurricaine Andrew, 2" of rainwater in car, Insurance totaled it< I bought it back for $350, replaced a back side window, took out seats and carpet for 3 days to dry, reinstalled and drove it for 5 more years with no problems.
Problem is on buying these, how do you KNOW what caused the insurance company to total the vehicle.
If I didnt KNOW the cause, I would be afraid to buy.
