About the title;
I bought salvage on a 5 YO low mileage F-250. Cut 1 frame rail, and replaced the bed and RR quarter of the frame. Did not worry about snot on the paper, needed a pickup. About a year later, Dad needed the heavier truck, so we swapped for his 150. About 4 years later, my nephew inherited it. With 3 kids, that reg cab gas guzzler was of limited value, so I bought it from him. This time the title came back clean. Might of been the age or mistake, but it happened.
BTW, none of us had issues buying insurance.
