DW had a red light runner hit her in the drivers side front fender/wheel on her 2004 Buick Rainier AWD V8 and the insurance company totaled it. The front clip got push over to the point that the passengers side front fender came back and jammed the front door on that side. The car that hit her blocked both drivers side doors. So they had to get her out via the passenger side rear door. Rainier only had a 70K on the clock and was flawless. She loved it and it was worth a lot more to us than the 7129 dollars we got for it. Medical bills are pushing around 15k. She was very lucky the other drive did not hit her in the door, as the car spun around lessening the impact. The damage to the front drive system would probably not make it feasible to rebuilt it. Frame is probably bent also. We have a new 2020 Ford Edge ST twin turbo 2.7L V6, as she did not want a 4 banger replacement.
