off to a semi good start. Don't go overboard with the half ton pickup. Stay 26ft to 21ft range, and max trailer gvw weights of 7000lbs or less.
I have a 2500 series suburban and only have a 7600lb tow rating. To be safe i would limit my max gvw trailer weight of 6600lbs.
