I basically use it whenever I drive my truck. The fuel economy tuning of the regular transmission shift pattern makes the 355HP 5.3 feel more gutless than the 123HP in my Vibe or the 175HP mated to a CVT in my Subaru. I very infrequently drive my truck unloaded, but it still makes me have a twinge of guilt over the worse fuel economy but that's overriden by the truck not being an absolute dog.
