GM changed the mirror wiring in 2003, and they don't make the GM ones like above for my 2001, so I had no choice but the CIPAs...plus got them cheap from a forum member here who was trading his truck in...
I started with the clip on extensions, then went to the McKesh strap ons, but these by far are the best for ease of use and visibility. Just pull them out when ready to tow, push them back in at the CG when you unhitch.
I just installed the same type mirrors on our Suburban recently. So far, so good. Much nicer than stock.
