That's too bad about the door panel, usually you can just pop off the small triangular panel and the 3 10mm nuts are right there along with the connectors.
Glad you like the mirrors...I have been very happy with the CIPAs. Mine took some getting used to because the passenger side is a straight mirror, not convex like the factory. I had to add little stick on convex inserts to see anything. Yours I think are much better because the mirror is designed with both straight and convex sections.
Wait until you tow with these mirrors! What a difference! No muss, no fuss, just pull them out and go! Plus I can see all the way down both sides of the trailer, and change lanes in heavy traffic like it's nothing.
Yes, definitely a blessing in disguise that DW crunched the factory mirror!
