It will pull it fine, plenty of power. The question is how will it handle the weight, length and stability? Also, what do you plan to carry in the truck?
We towed our current tt (34’, 6200lbs uvw, 7800lbs loaded) for 2 years with an ‘07 Tundra Crewmax. It pulled fine but we were pushing the limits and over GVWR. We had it fitted with airbags and E rated tires as well. Me made it work since we already had the truck but when the time came for a new truck we upgraded to a 3/4 ton Ram with a Hemi. Power and gearing wise the Tundra pulled better but handling and stability wise the heavier Ram was better.
I can’t say I’d recommend that size/weight with a 1/2 ton Ram but it could work. Everyone has a different level of what they are comfortable with.
