Tow vehicle advice: 4x4 or 4x2?

99.99% of the time you wouldn't need four wheel drive. Its the 0.01% of the time you have to be worried about.
Ummm... off the beaten path (and sometimes ON)... NO cell service and can't call tow truck. NOT walking out of back country? Priceless.
Been in a few places over the years where 4WD was mandatory. I personally want the option to go where 2WD shouldn't go. But that's just me. DH worked in Colorado for a time and he was issued a mountain truck/4WD... it came in handy frequently.
It just depends on what you want to do where you're going.
