Your truck should be up to the task but ANY truck will need a weight distributing hitch for that much tongue weight (15% of 8,000 lb.). The reason for this actually isn't JUST to prevent sag but to prevent being over weight on the hitch itself. Your receiver hitch should have a maximum weight stamped on it somewhere and will show two weights. The lower of the two will be the weight WITHOUT using a WD system and the larger is WITH one. Air bags really have no logical use for towing a travel trailer as they do NOTHING to replace the weight LOST from the front axle by putting a lot of weight behind the rear wheels. That is the main purpose of a WD system and when correctly sized and correctly adjusted your truck should sit with the same attitude when hitched as when unhitched.
