Tow Vehicle for a Casita

If you value a carlike ride and handling, consider the Toyota Highlander (2008 and later). I have towed for over 140,000 miles with my '08 Highlander, both work and play. Much of those miles were with a Burro or a Li'l Hauley (another molded FG trailer) in tow, and they were no sweat. The only time I wished for more power was when towing my former KZ Spree Escape 14RB up long grades at elevations exceeding 5000 feet. If you don't find one with factory tow package, then definitely add an extra transmission cooler.

I did buy a used GX470 last July as a replacement, since the HL was over 180,000 total miles, but I haven't been able to bring myself to sell the HL yet. I still enjoy driving it.
