The 4 runner is much more capable then the kia borrego in my opinion. My nieghbor had the kia and towed with it, not a happy camper. Why? Well they had a lot of issues with it to begin with and I think that it was only rated at 5k but could be wrong. The toyota is based on a truck frame and with the v8 I believe u will be happy. Plus the 4 runner is pretty rugged and very reliable even with the 4x4 option. I surprised that we have not had the u need a 1 ton mega diesel to pull that thing safely...lol jk guys.
