Haha. Yes. All I can say is, "I wish!". I've seen these before and I have seen the price tags. Would love to if I could afford it. I would probably have a Duraburb built long before this though, but even that is a bit out of reach currently. We are having a house built right now and you see what my wife drives. She is hogging the vehicle budget currently!
@Wayne - thank you for the input. Performance will absolutely take a back seat to towing. I just want it to be a little fun and sound good, but not necessary if it means sacrificing towing ability.
@donn - I see a lot of 28-30' that look like they will come in below 8,000 or even 7,000 pounds. Payload is good for the family on the Suburbans, and as Ivylof mentions below, the Ex has seen a lot of success with leaf suspension upgrades. Not arguing, because I understand there is a lot of experience in these forums and I've only ever hauled a pop-up. But, do those numbers make sense for these vehicles?
@Ivylog - I definitely appreciate this input, and from what I understand, the Ex can become a very comfortable tower with all the suspension upgrades (leaves, Anti-sway, steering stability). My only concern with this is exceeding ratings and legal implications. I've heard mixed reviews on this and I'm not sure what to believe. If it's safe, it's fine with me. Just don't want to end up in a mess because of this. Your thoughts?
