Thanks. I have seen a bit on this, but haven't seen where to get this work done. I also saw a thread in which the poster said that the shop certified an increase in the capacity. Is this the case in your experience?
APT - thank you for that read. The upgraded hitch seems like a great addition.
If I go with the Burb, I will definitely have to upgrade the hitch as I will be looking at TT's with GVWR of at least 8,000. Unless I can get the tongue weight at or below 12.5%. I'd rather play it safe and have room for more. Could even pull the towing cap max of 9,400 if the tongue weight were at 10%, but again, I would prefer a comfortably safe tow.
