TOW VEHICLE RECCOMENDATION

We are beginning research on a new used tow vehicle. Our trusty van is on borrowed time. We would like to pull around 5-6 K. This would be our daily driver as well. We do foster care and need seating for 6 or more. We are thinking SUV or possibly a van. Around town mileage is somewhat important. Any suggestions?

    Payload...what weight do you plan to carry in the new vehicle? People, stuff etc. when going camping?

    Easy. Ford Transit EcoBoost, 148" wheelbase medium or high roof. Plenty of payload, flexible seating (but use a helper... they're heavy!), nice driving in town and on the highway, LOTS of power. AWD is available, and it's AWD system can fully lock the transfer case. Do hold out for a 2020 model. There's quite a few upgrades over the '19 model.
